Mortgage Rates Drop Below 5%

Rates dropped for the 5th straight week, setting a new unprecedented low. Freddie Mac reported yesterday that average rates on a 30-year fixed mortgage dropped to 4.96%. Last year at this time the rate was at 5.69%.
